"It never rains in LA"

Given our current drought conditions, thinking about or planning for a rainy event day is not an issue we typically deal with in LA. So when the rains do come on a Saturday, at the end of July, not many event planners are prepared. Fortunately, for one of our events that week, a tough decision turned out to the the best decision to save their wedding. This beautiful Redondo Beach wedding was set up with a free standing chandelier post and market string lights, but the weather forecast turned from bad to worse. The addition of the tent and restringing of the market lights and chandelier saved this wedding from the down pours that occurred during the wedding night. Our birthdays only come once a year, marking and celebrating the growth and memories we have gained. Fifty years of life is no small feat, and it is a cultural milestone that beckons a grand and worthy celebration. This beautiful birthday bash in Venice was no exception, and it properly paid tribute to the fantastic fifty years of the birthday honoree. The rustic chic ambiance was accomplished with subtle white linens, mauve napkins, burlap table runners, and ethereal mossy branches as centerpieces. Gold chiavari chairs and gold trimmed plates explicated an effervescent elegance. Soft market string lights, a wood bar, and cocktail tables invited guests to raise their glasses to salute and cheer the fifty years of a wonderful life. Here’s to fifty more!
